Borrow and renew all library materials.

If the library doesn't have an item that you need, you can request it through resource sharing/interlibrary loan. Books and other physical items can be picked up from the lockers in the library breezeway. Digital items will be sent to your library account.

The library has hundreds of textbooks and other course materials that can be borrowed for shorter periods of time.

If you find a CD, DVD, or other audiovisual resource in the library catalog that you would like to borrow, you can get it here.

Pay library fines or speak with someone about them.

If an item is turned into the library lost and found, we keep it here until the end of the day when it is turned into the campus police department in the Union.

The library has PC laptops that can be borrowed for four hours at a time. Long term loans are available from IRT.

Dozens of anatomical models and realia are available for your study needs. Models can be checked out from the first floor service desk. There is also a fully-articulated skeleton in the lower level.

There are a number of mobile and stationary white boards throughout the library. You can pick up mini white boards and markers here.

The library has scientific, graphing, and financial calculators on 4-hour and 24-hour loans.

Community members (anyone not currently enrolled or employed by Sac State) can obtain a community borrower card to check out materials and access the public research terminals on the second floor.

This new center strives to create more entrepreneurs and innovators that are "Made at Sac State."

The University Library Data | Technology Lab supports faculty in learning data analytics, artificial intelligence, and data visualization tools for research and teaching and provides hands-on training for implementing these technologies within specific disciplines.

Contains the archives and history of Sacramento State University and several special collections (papers, artifacts, oral histories) of local and national interest. Located through a separate entrance on the south end of the library building.

A reservable space where faculty members may gather and work together.

Exhibits in the Library Gallery Annex are curated mainly by the Special Collections and University Archives department.

A separate, but important feature of the Library. Works by world renowned artists, including faculty and alumni, are exhibited here. The space also hosts special events.

Shared workshop where students can access tools and technologies to build art and inventions.

Computers are equipped with Microsoft Office suite, Citrix, and Adobe Acrobat Pro. You can print and scan from these computers throughout the library.
