Institutional Research Effectiveness & Planning (OIREP))Mission: enhance University effectiveness with information & research to support planning & budgeting, assessment, accreditation, policy formation, & decision making.
1. Data Collection/Management: Collect, preserve, edit, analyze, & interpret significant & meaningful information. Charged with the development & maintenance of an integrated database that incorporates University data, including a campus-wide electronic database, surveys of students, faculty & staff information, & national databases.
2. Data Restructure/Reporting: Responsible for the design and production of routine & ad hoc reports for internal constituencies, as well as for federal, state, CSU system & external agencies. Use statistical & deterministic procedures, generate sophisticated reports to meet the various needs of the campus community.
Special Research/Policy Analyses: Design/conduct special research & policy analyses to support planning, budgeting, assessment and accreditation. Results of research expand the understanding of the university, identify the problems, enhance a data driven culture and stimulate changes within the University.
