Advanced Keyword Search
Use the Advanced Keyword Search to investigate more complicated topics or to correlate two or more topics.
For example:
Veterans
AND
Disab*
AND
“Alcohol Abuse” OR "Substance Abuse"
The truncation symbol, *, searches for variations of a root word.. Disab* will search for Disabled, Disability, Disabilities.
The use of quote marks surrounding a phrase (e.g. "Alcohol Abuse") searches for these word together.
The use of OR in a search box searches for ANY of those words. In OneSearch the word "or" must be capitalized as "OR".
The use of AND requires that the search find at least one word from each of the search boxes.
