The Journal Evaluation Tool was developed by Loyola Marymount University to help "grade" the journals to which you are considering submitting your research papers. It is important to evaluate any publication source, especially open access sources, to make sure they meet quality, scholarly, peer-review editing standards.

Search a known journal by title, title word or ISSN. This journal list includes Web of Science Core Collections, Current Contents Connect subject areas, Science Citation Index, chemical information databases, and subject indexes on the Web of Science Science platform. The list is not inclusive of all possible publication channels.

Find the best journal for your research. Search by manuscript title, journal title, publisher and subject areas. Results can be sorted and filtered. Journal Impact Factors are not currently included; however the Source-Normalized Impact per Paper (SNIP) value is included.

There's more to "Impact Factor" when deciding the merit of a journal for your article. Consider SNIP, CiteScore, h-index, SCIMAGO, etc.
