Welcome to your Research Guide for using the Chicago Manual of Style (CMS) for Fine and Performing Arts research. There are several ways to format in CMS, the most common are Notes/Bibliography and Author/Date. In the Humanities you will usually be asked to format in Notes/Bibliography.
