Select one of the approved activist movements. Explain why you are interested in researching the topic. Please also decide now which of you will take charge of these four aspects of the topic:

1. Origins/history of the movement
2. Biography of one major leader involved in the movement
3. Analysis of one major protest, campaign or event related to the movement
4. Result and legacy of the movement

Please keep in mind that you will be responsible for this aspect for all future assignments (academic text analysis [due Feb. 28], analytical essay [due Apr 18], and final presentation).
