The Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon is an annual event that strives for the improvement of coverage on women and the arts on Wikipedia. This event also encourages female editorship since the lack of information on women and the arts has been impacted by the fact that less than 10 percent of Wikipedia editors are female. No experience with editing Wikipedia is necessary, all are welcome!
To create a Wikipedia account, click the following link then select Create an account now in the middle of the page or click Create account in the upper right hand corner. You do not need to create an account in order to edit in Wikipedia, however, creating an account comes with privileges. Once you create an account and have been active in Wikipedia, you can reach certain access levels. To learn more about access levels, visit the User Access Level page.
