Strategies for finding specific articles

If your professor has recommended a specific article or articles to read for your research, you can use the search boxes in a database such as Business Source Complete or ABI/Inform to see if it is included in the database.

Type "harvard business review" in the top box and change "Select a Field..." to "SO Publication Name"
Type the article title and/or author name in the second and third boxes as necessary

Strategies for researching companies in a specific country or location

The Library's business databases make it easy to search for information limited to a specific country or location. You can do this in combination with topics, companies, and industries!

Here is an example of searching for company information in a specific country in the Business Source Complete database.
Simply type the name of the country in the top box then change the "Select a field" box to GE Geographic Terms.
In the next box down, type the name of the company. If you want to make sure the article is actually about that company, you can change the "Select a field" box to CO Company Entity for more relevant results.
If finding too many results, you can type additional terms if needed in the third box.
