Annotated bibliography: A list of sources (books, book chapters, articles, etc.) on a given topic, often arranged alphabetically by author, with an accompanying statement (annotation) about each source used to guide a reader. Follow the bibliographic format of the source required by the instructor (for example, APA, MLA, Chicago, and others).
