Using and Developing Keywords

Follow this step by step guide to find and develop keywords using OneSearch.

1. Type a few keywords into the search bar such as:

"Public Schools" and "United States" and "History" (see example below). 

2. Narrow your results by using the filtering menu on the left. Try, Availability or Resource Type options.

Moreover, you can save the item by selecting the push pin icon on the right of the envelope icon or you can save the whole search by clicking on the "save query" option by the push pin.

3. Pick a record/item that seems interesting or relevant and click on the title to see the record/item details. 

4. Read the details for relevancy.

5. Click on any of the subject links to generate a search of other items that use the same subject term. 

 

6. Once again, you have the option to filter these results with the menu on the left.
