The Digital Humanities is a well-established, fast-growing, multidisciplinary field producing computational applications & analytical models that enable new kinds of research in both the Humanities & Computer Sciences. IDH Religion is a series of short introductions addressing specific areas of study at the intersection of Digital Humanities & Religion, offering an overview of current methodologies, techniques, tools, & projects as well as defining challenges & opportunities for further research. Volumes in the series seek to integrate construction & analysis as mutually influential aspects of research in the Digital Humanities & Religion & to explore the many ways in which digital media & the humanistic project present, explain, & challenge each other.

Provides practical, but provocative, case studies of exemplary projects that apply digital technology or methods to the study of religion. An introduction and 16 essays are organized by the kinds of sources digital humanities scholars use – texts, images, & places – with a final section on the professional and pedagogical issues digital scholarship raises for the study of religion.

It seeks to provide a venue for sharing new empirical research and theoretical analysis of these & other intersections between religion, media & culture.

An open-access, peer-reviewed, digital journal covering all aspects of digital media in the humanities. It is a community experiment in journal publication, with a commitment to: experimenting with publication formats & the rhetoric of digital authoring co-publishing articles with Literary & Linguistic Computing (a well-established print digital humanities journal) in ways that straddle the print/digital divide using open standards to deliver journal content developing translation services & multilingual reviewing in keeping with the strongly international character of ADHO. It publishes a wide range of peer-reviewed materials, including: scholarly articles, case studies, & field reports, editorials & provocative opinion pieces, experiments in interactive media, reviews of books, web sites, new media art installations, digital humanities systems and tools.

Disciplinary literature provides scholarly articles on the digital humanities. For articles we don't own, one can use interlibrary loan.
