California State University (CSU) ScholarWorks is a digital collection that captures, manages, and disseminates the scholarly materials of the CSU community. Currently nearly all of the CSU libraries have implemented a ScholarWorks site. These institutional repositories position the CSU to provide viable alternatives to members of the CSU community to manage their scholarly output.
In its effort to enhance access to knowledge and information, beginning with the Fall 2009 semester, Sacramento State has required graduate students, who have a departmentally approved Thesis/Project/Dissertation, to submit it electronically on ScholarWorks along with a print copy signed by the faculty committee and department graduate coordinator or department chair. Communities of scholarly work, including theses, projects and dissertations, are discoverable and available full-text via the Library’s OneSearch. Descriptive information about deposited works also is made available to Google Scholar (http://scholar.google.com/) and other services.
Submitting Your Electronic Thesis/Dissertation
Once your manuscript has been approved by the Office of Graduate Studies, you may submit your electronic thesis/project/dissertation (ETD) into ScholarWorks. Information is available here (PDF) and in the slideshow below. You may submit your ETD on your own and you may use any campus computer lab.
