OneSearch - the CSUS Library Catalog

OneSearch is the CSUS Library catalog and contains the material holdings of the CSUS Library including books and videos. 

Use the multi-box ADVANCED SEARCH to search more precisely by title, author, keyword or subject. Then limit results to items in the Library by clicking on the Library Catalog link to the left of screen.

Most of the titles listed below are located on 2 North Reference and are broad overviews of Mythology, Religion, and Folklore. See the subject tabs above (Characters and Places, Europe, Africa, etc.) for resources specific to those subjects.

Browse the Shelves

Use the Library of Congress call numbers below to browse the shelves for books on Mythology, Religion, and Folklore.  Most books are located on 2 South.  Books on 2 North are REFERENCE and cannot be checked out.

  • Books on MYTHOLOGY are located at BL1 - BL2709

However, works on mythology will also be found in call numbers for history and literature. For example, works on Native American mythology will be found in section E98 (Native American History) and works on King Arthur can be found in PN57 (Literature) or DA152 (Great Britain, History.)

  • Books on FOLKLORE are locaed at GR1-GR950
