Faculty

Special Areas:

Library Instruction Requests

  • Librarians will teach your students how to use library tools effectively to locate and evaluate research materials, including books and peer-reviewed articles.

  • Every librarian focuses on one or more discipline and is responsible for that area of The Library’s Collection.
  • They can assist you with your research and meet with your students.

Interlibrary Loan

Loan Limits: Sacramento State Part and Full Time Faculty and Staff: 100 items

Loan Period: Sacramento State Part and Full Time Faculty and Staff: one year.

Renewals: General Circulating items are automatically renewed for an additional loan period two days before the due date, provided:

  • You do not owe fees of $10.00 or more.
  • Your account is not blocked.
  • The item is not billed.
  • The item has been checked out to you for less than four years.

 

 

 

Master's and Doctoral Students

Graduate Study Area, 4th Floor:

Group & Individual Study Rooms:

  • Group: For two or more people. First come, first served unless reserved. Located on LL, 2, and 3.

Interlibrary Loan

You are not limited to the books, articles, playtexts, and so on that we have in this library. Our ILL department will work hard to get what you need from another library.

Borrowing Books as a Graduate Student

Loan Limits: Sacramento State Graduate, Thesis, and Doctoral Students: 75 items

Loan Period: 16 weeks
