Library Cards

For non-students who wish to check out books there are several options. The two most popular are the Community Borrower Card and the Alumni Card.

The Community Borrower Card is available to residents of the local area who are 18 yrs of age or older and have a valid photo ID (to verify age and address). The card is $50 for 1 year.  There is a 15 item check-out limit (no more than 15 items checked-out at one time).

The Alumni Card is available to alumni from any CSU. You must be a member of the Alumni Association and have a valid photo ID with address. The card is free with proof of membership and good for the length of your Alumni Association membership.  There is a 15 item check-out limit.

Members of the Sac State Renaissance Society can also purchase a library card for $5, good for one year.

Non-students who only need to access the Public Computers can get the SacState Internet Access Card.  This card is free with a valid photo ID.

See the provided links on the left for more information on non-student library cards.
