These instructions were written as a short introduction to using EndNote X3, but have been updated continuously to reflect changes to X8.

EBSCO Databases Print Page

Saving References- EBSCO

  1. Open EndNote and minimize it.
  2. Run your search in one of the EBSCO databases (in this example Academic Search Complete is used)
  3. Conduct a search and click on the Folder for each of the references you wish to move to EndNote

    You can also add to folder from the complete record.image of folder
  4. When ready to export click on Folder View
  5. Click on Select all and then Export

  6. Select the radio button Direct Export in RIS Format (e.g. CITAVI, EasyBib, EndNote, etc.)

  7. Select Save
  8. Your references should be in your EndNote Library.
