Government Information: United States

Indexes

The U.S. Fedreal Government publishes books, reports, maps, and pamphlets on most topics. Executive agencies publish all kinds of material.  Congress publishes hearings, committee prints, and reports & documents.  The Judiciary produces mostly court decisions.  Locating information from different agencies varies.

These indexes provide information about various documents, maps, etc. distributed by the U.S. Government Printing Office.

Catalogs

Sacramento State has been a "selective" depository since 1963.  U.S. government documents are cataloged in EUREKA to 1981 and from 1993 to the present.  Documents in the intervening years (1982-1992) are uncataloged.  Once a document has been identifided for those years, one can check the shelflist to determine if this Library owns it.
